Nigerian film actress and businesswoman turned reality star, Iyabo Ojo has accused the producers of The Real Housewives of Lagos of not promoting peace among the casts.
The mother of two made the accusation in an Instagram post on Friday, December 1, after celebrating one of the casts of the show, Dr. Rommel Asagwara who recently came under fire over an altercation with another cast Faith Morey.
Iyabo, however, defended Rommel, saying that the producers cropped out parts of the conversation to take away the peace. She wrote:
“I have tried to hold my peace so that everyone can enjoy the show. but at this point, I think the production team of The Real Housewives of Lagos season 2 is taking the peace. Your cut and join is so irritating and annoying, Why would you cut out everything Doc Rommel said leading up to the crown conversation & then only show our reaction, You take out 98% and show only 2%🙄eti fa 🚬.”
The Real Housewives of Lagos is the first Nigerian installment of the award-winning franchise which is distributed internationally by NBS Universal Formats.
The show focuses on the controversial lives of housewives and their relationship with one another.
Co-produced by singer, Darey Alade, the show stars Iyabo Ojo, Toyin Lawani, Chioma Goodhair, Laura Ikeji, Mariam Timmer, Tania Omotayo and Faith Morey.
Actress Caroline Danjuma left after the first season.
