Tope Alabi, the seasoned Nigerian Gospel singer, was immersed in profound fan affection during a church event in Lagos that evoked deep emotions and tears from her.
The ‘Adake dajo’ artist, alongside Skitmaker Woli Agba and fellow entertainers, served as a guest minister at Elevation Church Ministry’s In His Presence programme, in Maryland, Lagos.
Tope, taking to her Instagram, posted a video capturing the touching and emotional moments, expressed the overwhelming fan love she received during the event.
In the footage, the gospel songstress and her hubby held court in the VIP row, basking in the glory of the choristers unleashing her classic, spirit-soaring songs to roll out the red carpet for her.
Tope couldn’t hold back her tears when the congregation sang along with the choir with deep emotion. Her husband, beaming with joy, watched her emotional reaction throughout the video.
Captioning the clip, Tope expressed how the overwhelming love she received at the event left a profound impact, describing it as an emotional moment. Gratefully acknowledging God’s grace in her career, she emphasized that she never takes it for granted.

Prior to her music career, Tope Alabi worked with the Jesters International comedy group as well as other Lagos and Ibadan-based travelling and stage theatre groups. Her movies were mainly of the Yoruba genre before she dived into the gospel music world after becoming a born-again Christian. –
