You paid me N5M, I must perform – Portable tells Celestial Church despite being disinvited (VIDEO)

The announcement of Portable and Pasuma, dubbed as worldly musicians, headlining at the Celestial Church, caused a stir online, leading the church leaders to retract the invitation. Portable, displeased with the sudden removal, turned to social media, emphatically asserting his desire to perform and urging them not to judge a book by its cover

Portable, the controversial Nigerian artist, didn’t hold back when addressing his sudden exclusion from a Celestial Church event.

Social media recently went ablaze with outrage as Land of Goshen Cathedral gave him the boot from their Ankara praise night lineup alongside Pasuma and other artists slated for their Ankara praise night.

In response, Portable swiftly turned to social media, sparking a viral sensation with a video addressing the matter. In the clip, the Zazu crooner stood firm, emphatically expressing his determination to grace the church with his performance.

In the video, Portable said the church paid him N5 million, emphasizing that he’s obligated to perform. The bold singer asserted that he and Pasuma, being children of God, would go ahead with their performance.

The music star didn’t just stop there; he earnestly begged the Celestial Church in God’s name to let him perform. He stressed that the church leaders shouldn’t judge him based on his looks.

In his words:

“Cele we must do the show o, you have paid me N5 million and we must do it. Pasuma will perform, I will also perform and we must do it.

“This child of God is coming. Land of Goshen Cathedral please in God’s name, consider us as children of God, don’t use my looks to judge me.”

Portable’s video, where he pleaded with the Celestial Church to allow him to perform in their program, received a variety of reactions online.
