Nigerian music executive, Don Jazzy, found himself embroiled in a war of words with a critic who accused him of being lonely and stingy.
The altercation unfolded when the Mavin Records CEO shared an amusing incident from a bar where he witnessed extravagant spending.
Don Jazzy recounted the scenario where rich folks were showering money in the air at a club.
The music mogul humorously mentioned pocketing one of the N500 notes that landed on him.
“These big boys dey spray money for air for club. Wetin concerns me the one wey touch me I don pick one 500 naira put for my bra,” Don Jazzy said.
However, a social media user identified as Abel Obinna took offense at the revelation, accusing Don Jazzy of being stingy and lonely.
The critic’s comment suggested that the music producer’s alleged stinginess was the reason for his purported loneliness.
“Your stingy is of the highest other. No wonder why you are lonely” the troll wrote.
Responding to the accusation, Don Jazzy didn’t hold back, replying with a curt and direct insult.
“Your Mama,” Don Jazzy wrote.
The exchange caught the attention of Reekado Banks, a former signee of Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records.
Reekado Banks entered the conversation hours later, amplifying the controversy by echoing his ex-label boss’s response.
“Well well,” Reekado Bank said.
