Rising Afrotrap artist, Independent Jorgi, has stirred controversy by openly criticizing well-established female artists such as Tiwa Savage, Tems, and Teni.
Jorgi accused these leading figures of displaying a lack of interest in promoting and collaborating with emerging female talents in the industry.
The up and coming Afro trap sensation did not mince his words as he called out these celebrated artists for what he perceives as a self-centered approach to their careers.
Jorgi specifically highlighted their alleged failure to seize opportunities to collaborate with up-and-coming female artists, a move he believes would contribute to the overall growth and diversity of the Nigerian music.
Jorgi asserted that, in contrast to their male counterparts, these female artists seem to be more focused on their personal success rather than actively participating in the cultivation of new talents.
She passionately argued that true success in the industry should not be solely measured by personal achievements but also by the willingness to uplift and support the next generation of artists.
