Late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has been posthumously honoured with two awards at the Supreme Dynamic Talent Academy Awards in Ghana.

The awards ceremony bestowed two accolades upon the artist, who passed away under mysterious circumstances at the age of 27.

Mohbad was celebrated as the “Supreme African Street-Hop Artist of the Year” and the recipient of the “Supreme African Song of the Year” for his track titled “Beast and Peace.”

The recognition comes amid an outpouring of grief and shock over the untimely demise of the talented artist.

Before his tragic passing, Mohbad was expected to personally receive his award nomination and approval letter.

The event was marred by controversy, leaving fans and the music Industry grappling with the loss of a rising star.

The organizers of the prestigious awards also unveiled a new category dedicated to honouring outstanding artists each year, with the inaugural recipient being Mohbad.

The late singer was immortalized as the “Supreme Imole Rookie Street-Pop Artiste of the Year,” ensuring that his impact on the music industry endures beyond his lifetime.
