“Misplaced priority” – Wizkid faulted over proposed N100M Christmas giveaway for children

Daniel Regha calls out Wizkid over his proposed N100M for children.

Social media commentator, Daniel Regha has criticized Wizkid’s recent proposal to gift children N100 million for Christmas, deeming it a misplaced priority.

According to Regha, Wizkid is yet to fulfil his prior promise to build schools across Africa, making the new pledge questionable.

He suggested that if Wizkid wishes to celebrate with children during the festive season, it should be done without the hefty financial commitment.

Regha went on to advocate for a more impactful use of the funds, proposing that the N100 million be directed towards a long-term project, such as building a free school to provide education for underprivileged children. He emphasizes that this redirection of funds would be a more constructive and enduring way to contribute positively to the community.

In his words:

“Wizkid promising to gift children a N100m for Christmas is a m!splaced priority, since he’s yet to fulfil his old pledge of building schools across Africa; If he wishes to celebrate with kids this festive season that’s OK, but n¤t with a N100m. That money should be channeled into a long-term project, like building a free school to give education to poor children. No offense.”
