Subsequently, he organized an extravagant burial ceremony in Lagos, Nigeria, to honor and bid farewell to the departed.
In the wake of the recent loss, the musician has been garnering attention on the internet with a series of generous and noteworthy deeds.
The Ojuelegba crooner, through his Instagram story, has just announced his intention to generously donate a significant sum of N100 million to children. The distribution is scheduled to kick off on the night of December 11 in Surulere, Lagos.
Wizkid underscored that his act of generosity is a sincere tribute to his late mother, Morayo.
He wrote, “100M for the kids for Christmas! Lord bless us all 😇 start in Surulere tonight!
