Popular rapper Afeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, has taken legal action against actress Iyabo Ojo, filing a N500 million lawsuit through his legal representatives, Olalekan Ojo (SAN) & Co.
The lawsuit stems from allegations made by Iyabo Ojo on her Instagram account in September 2023, suggesting that Naira Marley had both spiritual and physical dealings with the late musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.
Mohbad passed away in the same month, and the accusations have added fuel to an already sensitive situation.
Naira Marley’s legal team asserts that the actress’s Instagram post contained malicious and inaccurate content, accusing the rapper of mentally torturing Mohbad during his lifetime.
The attorney representing Naira Marley has issued a letter to Iyabo Ojo, requesting a public apology within seven days.
According to the letter, failure to comply with the demand for an apology would result in the initiation of a lawsuit against Iyabo Ojo.
The lawsuit would seek damages amounting to a substantial sum of N500 million from the actress.

In other news, Popular Nigerian movie actress and businesswoman, Iyabo Ojo has revealed that she used to send her kids to singer Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley’s house and the latter would lace their food and drinks with illegal substances.
