The incident occurred at a religious gathering in Feira de Santana, which was being broadcast online.
The singer was in the midst of singing the soulful hymn “Vai Ser Tão Lindo” when he suddenly lost his balance and fell from the stage.
The distressing incident was captured on camera, as the singer interacted with the audience just moments before the tragic event unfolded.
The artist’s record company, Todah Music, confirmed the heartbreaking news, revealing that Pedro Henrique suffered a severe heart attack.
The young singer was seen stepping on the edge of the platform before the sudden collapse. The online broadcast added to the shock, as viewers witnessed the incident in real-time.
In a statement to Radio 93, Todah Music expressed deep sorrow over the loss of the talented gospel singer.
“There are very difficult situations in life, for which we have no explanation. We just need to understand that the will of God prevails,” the record company shared on Instagram.
“We believe Peter will have a prominent place in the great Heavenly Choir! The songs in his voice will not die, and his legacy will live on through his wife, his daughter, Zoe, and so many lives that have been and will be reached by Christ through the records of his voice!,” Todah Music added.
