Popular Nigerian singer Adewale Emmanuel Mayowa, widely known as Mayorkun, has announced a lucrative reward of N5 million for the safe return of his stolen pendant.

The artiste, who recently graced Calabar with a performance, faced an unfortunate incident as his cherished chain was stolen during the show.

Expressing his frustration, Mayorkun initially vowed not to return to the state.

However, the situation took a positive turn when fellow celebrity Iyanya stepped in to assist in the recovery efforts.

With the support of Iyanya, one of the stolen chains has already been located.

In a public statement, Mayorkun announced the substantial reward for anyone who can also bring back his pendant.

The artist, known for hits like “Mama” and “Betty Butter,” expressed his gratitude to the residents of Calabar and urged their cooperation in the search.

Mayorkun also met with the Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency Prince Bassey Otu, who offered him support and reassurance regarding the retrieval of his lost valuables.

Mayorkun, determined to recover his cherished pendant, is actively involved in the search and has called upon Calabar residents for assistance.

The singer is ready to give N5 million incentive for anyone with information or possession of the stolen jewelry to come forward and return it to the artist.
