In a recent interview, the actor's former spouse pointed fingers at him, alleging he acted as a roadblock to her aspirations of shining as a movie star


In a candid interview with Chude, Susan Emma, the former wife of Emeka Ike, delved into the intricacies of their past marriage, disclosing that she aspired to become an actress, but Emeka opposed the idea.

Opening up about the challenges, she detailed enduring a progression of abuse, beginning with verbal and mental, then escalated to financial abuse, ultimately culminated in physical abuse.

Susan shared that her original desire to pursue acting brought her close to Emeka, but he opposed it, fearing it would strain their relationship.

Recounting their wedding, Susan revealed she felt pressured to take action as she was already heavily pregnant with their second child before Emeka agreed to marry her.

According to her, on their wedding day, he arrived late from a film shoot in another state, and the ceremony lacked the blessing of his family.

Suzanne had earlier narrated how Emeka Ike punched her when she took her child to the hospital for treatment. 

Contrary to the picture painted by the Nollywood actor, Suzanne said they didn’t have money and she had to take her child to the hospital for treatment.

She was trying to talk to the nurses on duty so that her child could be treated when Ike came and started shouting at her. She added that she had to go car to avoid any form of trouble.

Suzanne further stated that Ike followed her and punched her in the jaw while she was in the car.
