- Ini Edo spills the details on why she remains unattached at 41 in a recent chat on Toke Makinwa’s podcast.
- The screen queen bluntly reveals that she’s steering clear of toxic relationships, refusing to be caught in that romantic quagmire.
Nollywood sensation Ini Edo, in a heart-to-heart with media personality Toke Makinwa, sheds light on her single status at 41.
The actress attributes her single life to a quest for authentic love and unwavering commitment in a relationship.
She made it clear that toxic relationships are off the table for her, emphasizing the importance of a partner who can provide protection and support.
Ini Edo stressed that her focus extends beyond money, expressing a desire for a partner who can skillfully navigate various situations and exhibit kindness.
“I am single because I just want someone that will really love me, that is all! I am not asking for too much,” she said.
“You can love someone but you are not ready to be a committed person. I cannot be in a toxic relationship. If you cannot give me that protective energy that allows me to respect you, I cannot be with a man that I do not respect. If you cannot earn my respect, then we cannot be together because what is the point?
“Even if you do not have, sometimes it is not even about having money, it is about just how you are able to love and manage the situation, manage the people around you, kindness! I think that is what is missing.”

I just listened to Actress Ini Edo talk about why “she’s still not married.”
I think she clearly didn’t get her thought process right. She kept contradicting herself in trying to justify her reasons.
In the video she said “I’m single because I haven’t found love.” She went on… pic.twitter.com/GjVzRi7kbh
