Verydarkman demands compensation from singer Wizkid for using his trademarked phrase 'Don't Play' in his song


Famous activist and social media influencer, Otse Vincent Martins, better known as Verydarkman has called on Wizkid to remit royalty to him for using his trademarked phrase, ‘Don’t Play’ in his recent track, ‘Diamonds’.

In the video, Verydarkman reiterated that he’s being owed by Wizkid because he utilized his phrase.

According to him, all the words he uses frequently have been trademarked and he went on to share a copy of the document showing that ‘Don’t Play’ has been reserved for his use only.

Sharing the video on IG, Tunde Ednut who often reposts VDM’s videos wrote:
