Nigerian luxury lifestyle influencer Waris Olayinka Akinwande, aka Ola of Lagos, has vehemently refuted the accusation of inflating the price of a private jet he assisted a client in promoting online.
In widely circulated videos, Steve Varsona, the founder of The Jet Business, took issue with the young man, called him out for what he perceived as an inflated presentation in an old review and advertisement of a private jet.
In response to the accusations, Ola of Lagos expressed respect for The Jet Business’ founder, Steve Varsona, and offered an apology.
He clarified that the advert in question was created a year ago and acknowledged any potential misinformation, expressed regret for any inaccuracies.
Ola stood firm, emphasized that the client, not him, determined the price of the advertised jet.
Despite admitting to not having perfected his craft at that time, he conveyed a message to those exploiting the situation to tarnish his business and reputation, expressed his disappointment.

In the viral clip, the Oyinbo man suggested that Ola of Lagos throws around inflated figures like someone under the influence of low-quality substances.
He corrected Ola’s stated price for an old model private jet, stating it was $16 million (N12 billion), whereas the correct figure, according to the white man, is $5 million (N3.8 billion).
The private jet expert emphasized that Ola shouldn’t be involved in airplane reviews, as he lacks a fundamental understanding of the market, deeming his videos potentially harmful to the industry.
