- Yul Edochie in a gratitude post made earlier today, declared 2023 as the best year of his life
- His post however didn’t sit well with a lot of people, who took to the comment section to remind him that he had lost his first son this year
- They expressed disappointment in his words.
Yul Edochie had expressed his excitement for the upcoming year, claiming that 2023 was his best year on Earth.
The actor closed off the year by expressing gratitude to God for an amazing 2023.
He declared 2023 to be his best year yet, and that God had showered him with benefits.
Yul Edochie expressed confidence for an even better 2024, adding that the benefits he anticipates for the next year will be better than that of 2023.
He wrote:
“2023 has been my best year so
far. Thank You Lord for your blessings & all. I can’t even thank God enough.
2024 will be outstanding. 2023 will be child’s play compared to the blessings that will follow me in 2024.
And for that, I say THANK YOU
LORD.
May your Name be praised forever, Amen.
2024 we go harder.”
However, his statement has sparked mixed reactions amongst followers who have questioned whether he has forgotten the heartbreaking loss he experienced earlier this year – the passing of his first son.
While some fans have shown support for Edochie’s positive outlook on the future, others are criticizing his seemingly dismissive attitude towards the tragedy.

It’s your best post because you are a baby crying for help and the people closest to you don’t know this! Your kinsmen are supposed to bind you with ropes by now but even them are laughing behind closed doors. What a sad story😢”.
