Nollywood icon Kate Henshaw has candidly discussed her recent meeting with longtime colleague Genevieve Nnaji, offered a detailed account of their rekindled connection after an extended period of separation.
In a sizzling chat with Media Maestro Chude Jideonwo, Kate was grilled about whether her friendship with Genevieve Nnaji from the good old days is still rock-solid.
Kate, in her eloquent response, conveyed that she and Genevieve Nnaji have encountered minor disagreements in recent years. The actress gracefully pinpointed the only concern she harbors – Genevieve’s tendency to distance herself from her and their colleagues.
The actress continued to share that she reunited with Genevieve Nnaji during a Netflix shoot. She recounted how Genevieve, despite years of no contact, was warm and accommodating.
Notwithstanding, she threw some respect Genevieve’s way, likening her to the Nollywood equivalent of Angelina Jolie who’s all about riding solo and steering clear of the movie industry’s mix and mingle.

This is coming hours after Kate Henshaw left people talking over a recent video of her speaking about music star David Adeleke Davido.
Kate, during an interview with media personality Chude, shared her sentiments about the DMW label boss while stating that she’s not a fan.
When Chude asked the actress if she liked the Unavailable crooner, Kate, in a response, recounted her experience with Davido at an event.
The actress revealed that Davido didn’t greet her, leaving her feeling disrespected. She, however, added that she had no personal issues with him.
Kate also acknowledged Davido’s generosity in terms of giving back to the society.
