Phyno gives epic response to Cheque after he requested ‘Igbo’ from him (Video)

Video captures the hilarious exchange between the famous rapper, Phyno and Cheque over hard substance

  • Notable rappers, Phyno and Cheque recently linked up.
  • In the video, Phyno is seen smoking while Cheque filmed both of them.
  • Cheque subsequently requested that Phyno pass the substance to him, but he chickened out hilarious, stating that he wouldn’t be the one to spoil Cheque.

A clip captures the humourous moment renowned rappers, Phyno and Cheque linked up with each other.

In the video which was shared on Cheque’s IG stories, Phyno could be seen smoking Indian Hemp (Igbo) while Cheque captured the moment with his camera.

Cheque went on to request the substance from Phyno but he refused to pass it to him, stating that he wouldn’t be responsible for spoiling him (Cheque).

For the records, Akinbi Bamidele Brett (born 23 March 1995), known professionally as Cheque, is a Nigerian rapper and singer. He rose to mainstream fame for his 2020 single “Zoom”.

In 2021, he won an award for Best Duo African HipHop at the All Africa Music Awards alongside Fireboy DML. He is currently signed to Phyno’s Penthauze imprint.

On the other hand, Phyno whose real name is Chibuzo Nelson Azubuike (born 9 October 1986) is also a Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer.

Regarded as one of the most successful African rappers and influential African rappers of all time. He is a native of Anambra State, Phyno was born and raised in Enugu State. He started his music career as a producer in 2003, and is renowned for rapping in the Igbo language. His debut studio album No Guts No Glory was released in 2014. It was supported by the singles “Ghost Mode”, “Man of the Year”, “Parcel” and “O Set”.

In other news, Internationally recognized singer, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, professionally known as Burna Boy, has reportedly given a pricy gift to his colleague and paddy, Phyno.

The gift in question is a Jesus-themed multi-million naira pendant.

A Twitter user identified as @Big7Record disclosed this generous act by Burna Boy while sharing a video of the pendant on the rapper’s neck.

The tweep while announcing the gesture referred to it as a manifestation of the bromance between the two artists, symbolizing the deep bond shared between them.
