The incident sparked a wave of backlash from netizens who took issue with Makun’s comments.
May Edochie had taken to her Instagram page to reflect on the challenges of the past year and express her emotions about entering the new year, 2024.
She shared personal struggles, including the tragic loss of a family member, making her vulnerable and seeking solace on social media.
In response to May’s heartfelt post, Grace Makun, also known as Fabjewels on social media, advised her to reclaim her identity by removing Yul Edochie’s surname and flourishing independently.
