- Clergyman Mike Bamiloye, in a resurfaced post, had asked men if they can buy foodstuffs for their wives after coming back from work
- A University lecturer replied that he can do that and much more for his wife
- Daddy Freeze in reaction, stated that he can only buy groceries for his wife but can never cook nor do dishes for his wife
Controversial media personality, Daddy Freeze, has once again sparked a heated debate with his recent reaction to a clergyman’s statement on marital duties.
In a resurfaced social media post, clergyman Mike Bamiloye had asked men if they can buy groceries for their wife at the market after returning home from work.
“Dear Bro, can your wife send you to buy Fish, Okoro, and Vegetables when coming back from the Office?”.
In response, Austine Imoniche Oviosun, a university lecturer, said he could not only buy for his wife but also cook for her and, when he could, wash her clothes. He pointed out that a marriage unites two considerate individuals.
He urged his detractors to label him a woman wrapper; that wouldn’t change his love for his wife.
“Not only buy, I cook for her and wash her clothes when I can. Marriage is a union of two understanding persons.
Call me a woman wrapper I no care. I love my wife that is the most important thing” he said.
In response, Daddy Freeze stated that he enjoys visiting local markets and supermarkets and has no issues going grocery shopping. He can’t, however, help his wife do the dishes.
“I have no problem with going to the market or buying groceries. I like local markets and supermarkets. Just don’t ask me to cook or do dishes”.
In another story, Daddy Freeze advices men not to marry woman who can’t place you on monthly allowance .
In a thought-provoking piece of advice, popular Nigerian radio personality, Daddy Freeze, has urged men to carefully consider their choice of life partner and avoid marrying a woman who is unwilling to provide a monthly allowance.
In today’s society where gender roles are evolving and financial independence is highly valued, Daddy Freeze argues that a partnership should be built on equality and shared responsibilities.
He encourages men to seek out a woman who is capable and willing to contribute financially.
