A Nigerian man, identified as @bkareem052, has taken to social media to call out famous singer Teni for allegedly not tipping him on two separate occasions when he served as her Uber driver in Los Angeles.
This revelation comes shortly after Teni publicly gifted a substantial amount of money to a woman known as Mummy Zee, prompting the Uber driver to express his disappointment in a series of tweets.
@bkareem052 claims that despite playing Teni’s music during the rides and spending his own money to get data to stream her songs, the singer did not extend the same generosity by leaving even a small tip.
He recounted picking her up twice while he was still working as an Uber driver and emphasized that the trips were short distances, resulting in minimal earnings for him.
The Uber driver further clarified that he was not expecting a large tip, especially since Teni had chosen the regular Uber X service.
Despite his disappointment, @bkareem052 expressed support for the singer, stating that he proudly streamed her music and picked her up twice a day.
In response to the singer’s recent act of kindness towards Mummy Zee, @bkareem052 pointed out the discrepancy.

I noticed you’re shedding tears beneath this post, but let me make it clear: I couldn’t care less. Sure, I may expose every ounce of excess weight in her body because I myself always tip when someone render me her services. However, I proudly support a Nigerian superstar by streaming her music, even picking her up twice a day. Yet, she never thought to show her appreciation by leaving a tip in any of those rides. Don’t you dare call me entitled; it’s simply called gratuity. Moreover, on that very day, she disgusted herself by getting into my car in a dirty state. So, I’m not surprised she didn’t tip. In the end, not everything that shines is truly precious.
