- Tiwa Savage has dished out the details on her fallout with former buddy Davido in a fiery police petition against the singer.
- Over the past 48 hours, the OBO Crooner has been in the limelight courtesy of Tiwa Savage’s ex, Tee Billz, who threw Davido under the bus for not only bullying Tiwa and DMW Boss’ Babymama, Sophia Momodu, but also playing the absentee parent card with his daughter, Imade.
Renowned Nigerian songstress Tiwa Savage has lodged a complaint with the Nigerian police, alleging threats to her life and other concerning matters by her colleague, Davido.
Tiwa Savage’s Ex-hubby, Tee Billz has earlier captured widespread attention by exposing and leveling accusations against the DMW Boss. He claimed that the artist neglected, Imade, his daughter with Sophia Momodu, with whom he currently has a strained relationship.
Tee Billz further alleged that the singer not only threw threats at his ex-wife amid his clash with Sophia Momodu but also accused him of throwing his weight around, engaging in outright bullying.
In a bold move, Tiwa Savage elevated the stakes by taking her grievances to the police, filing a petition against the DMW Boss for the alleged threats he directed her way.
Detailing the incident in her petition, Tiwa recounted an Instagram Story post on December 23rd featuring herself and Sophia Momodu. This innocuous move prompted Davido to fire off messages to her manager, accusing her of taunting him with disrespectful and derogatory words.
In response, Tiwa expressed her dismay at Davido’s threats, highlighting her unwavering support during critical moments in his life, including the loss of his son.
The fallout from that day, according to her, unleashed a barrage of calls and messages from mutual connections, questioning her actions. Tiwa attributed this scrutiny to her choice of maintaining a relationship with Imade’s mother, Sophia Momodu, sparking insinuations that she was the instigator.
Furthermore, she asserted that Davido didn’t stop at direct messages; he extended his threats through mutual friends, transforming the situation into a distressing blend of online and offline harassment, not only affecting her but also her team members.
Concluding her petition with a strong statement, Tiwa emphasized the unethical nature of Davido’s actions, framing them as a direct threat to her rights to life, privacy, and personal dignity. This, she argued, forms the crux of her petition to the Commissioner of Police.
She petitioned in parts;
“On the 23rd of December, I made a post which included myself and Sophia Momodu Instagram Story- a feature on Instagram which alows you to put up a post for twenty-four hours, and MR. DAVID ADELEKE sent messages to my manager who’s also part of his management team that I shouldn’t worry and should never say a word to him and that I was taunting him, uttering very đisespectful, malicious and derogatory words to my person
I responded to MR. DAVID ADELEKE’s message and told him not o reach especially as I feel like I have been there for him and his daughter, Imade and more importantly when he lost his son. The events of that day have also led to a barrage of calls and messages from our mutual connections, asking me what I did to MR. DAVID ADELEKE that he’s upset that I choose to maintain a relationship with Imade’s mother, Sophia Momodu who he’s having issues with and also painting the exchange to look like I was the aggressor.
He has also told our connections to warm me to “becareful in Lagos because he was going to f”k me up”. This is beginning to feel ike some form of online and ofline harassment not just to me but also members of my team. The actions of MR. DAVID ADELEKE are uncthical and can be viewed as a direct threat to my rights to life, privacy and dignity of my person”
