In a recent viral interview, Mohbad's dad stirred the pot once more, asserting his refusal to rush his son's burial until every avenue for justice is explored. He delved into awaiting autopsy results, unwaveringly insisted on a DNA test for his grandson, and expressed a keen interest in uncovering the whereabouts of the little boy's placenta, adding a dash of suspense to the unfolding saga


Joseph Aloba, the father of Nigerian singer Imole, aka Mohbad, has shared the reasons behind his determined pursuit of justice for his late son..

The late music star’s, in viral video, stressed in a recent interview with TVC’s Ivy Kanu that his late son Mohbad’s body will only leave the morgue once he receives the DNA test result for his grandson, Liam, and the autopsy report for Mohbad.

Joseph also revealed that there’s another matter he is determined to unravel and discover the truth about.

He pointed out that his son wasn’t the person who received Liam’s placenta.

Mr Aloba noted that at the time when Liam was born he didn’t take it serious until a land dispute arose between his son and his mother-in-law.

This new update is coming after several months of back and forth between Mohbad’s father and the singer’s wife’s family.

Meanwhile, WITHIN NIGERIA recalls sharing a video where Mohbad’s dad pleaded with Nigerians not to abandon him in shouldering the weight of his deceased son’s burden.

In a widely circulated interview, the artist’s father earnestly implored individuals not to tire in ensuring that justice is served for the untimely demise of his son.

Regarding the DNA matter, Joseph Aloba emphasized that it is imperative, expressing his refusal to acknowledge his grandson, Liam, if paternity points to another man.

The late singer’s widow Omowunmi, said her fight with her father-in-law started over her son Liam’s placenta.

Omowunmi also shared how Mohbad’s dad used to bring his girlfriend to their rented apartment in Lekki.
