- Uriel Oputa has revealed she has moved past the ‘dating for fun’ stage and is ready to start a family with a mature man.
- Opening up on why that hasn’t happened, she said it’s because most of the men who approach her are younger guys who are 28,29.
- Uriel added that such guys are just starting out with their life while she wants a different thing in a relationship.
Former Big Brother Naija ‘All Stars’ contestant, Uriel Oputa has said she will only consider dating younger men if they bring something to the table.
According to the reality TV star and food Connosseur, she is ready to start a family, but her issue is that she often gets approached by guys that she’s older than.
The 35-year-old singer who sat down for a chat on the ‘Spill With Phyna podcast’, said people find it difficult to believe her age due to her physique.
Uriel said she has always been sceptical about accepting such relationship proposals because of the age difference, but she now gives green light when they woo her. Uriel said:
“I get approached by younger guys because people don’t believe my age. I’m in my 30s, right? But a lot of 28–29 guys approach me. And I’m like, ‘I can’t date you because I’m in a different stage in life. I’m ready to start a family. So, what can you offer me? You’re just getting into life.”
Still on relationships, popular Nigerian singer, Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, better known as Spyro, has revealed his ideal woman.
He expressed the desire to marry an attractive partner who loves Jesus, playfully referring to such woman as a “Jesus’ baddie”.
The ‘Who Is Your Guy’ crooner disclosed this in a recent interview with Hip TV. In Spyro’s words:
“My spec is a Jesus’ baddie. That’s my spec: Know God but be a baddie. Don’t be a mediocre because you know God. Dress well and speak well. Do those things that bad girls do but do it for your husband alone.”
Spyro also addressed the social media trolls urging him to choose between secular and gospel music, arguing that his secular songs can be sung anywhere without compromising his love for God.
