Nigerian filmmaker cum actress, Ini Edo has deleted a birthday message to her colleague, IK Ogbonna following a rumour about their romantic relationship.
A check on her Instagram account on Friday, January 12 revealed that the birthday message and the photos she posted are no longer visible to the public.
The duo sparked fresh dating speculations on Thursday, January 11, after Ini Edo showered sweet words on Ik Ogbona to celebrate his birthday.
The Shanty Town star described IK as sweet, loving and kind. She wrote:
“It’s world Okeosisi day. Happy birthday, king! You are amazing, kind, sweet, brave, loving, smart, to me, an Old wise man and above all … you have the purest of heart. May the universe align with your every dream and may the goodness of your heart attract only and all the goodness of this world, and may Your days be filled with peace, Joy and laughter… Happy birthday My love.”
Reacting in the comment section of the post, Ik wrote:
“Thanks. Love you always.”
The actor’s response further fueled rumours about their relationship as many stormed the comment section of the post to congratulate the alleged couple. See screenshot of her Instagram page below as at Friday, 
This comes months after an Instagram blogger identified as Cutie Juls claimed the movie stars are in a romantic relationship.
They both served as judges De9jaSpirit Talent Hunt show.
Ini Edo married a US-based businessman named Philip Ehiagwina in 2008 but the marriage ended in 2014.
IK and Sonia Morales got married in 2015 at a courthouse in Zagreb, Croatia. They have one son together named Ace. Rumour of crack in their marriage began circulating in 2018. By August 2019, Sonia confirmed the union was over, as did IK in March, 2023, when he shed light on their divorce and spoke about having a new relationship.
