- Kiitan Bukola has sparked reactions online, following the way she repeatedly evaded her colleague and host, Debbie Shokoya’s question while they were speaking on a house that was demolished by the Lagos State Government in October.
- Debbie Shokoya had repeatedly asked if Kiitan owned the said house following a post she made about it, the actress in response stylishly didn’t confirm or deny owning it.
- Instead, Kiitan Bukola repeatedly claimed she never said she owned the house.
Nigerian film actress, Oloruntimilehin Bosede Bukola better known as Kiitan Bukola has left many questioning her after she seemingly denied owning a multimillion naira property destroyed by the government months back.
In October, following the demolition of properties in Lekki by the Lagos State government, Kiitan had taken to social media to cry out.
A mentally drained Kiitan shared a video of her looking devastated as she revealed that Nigeria had finally happened to her.
Her senior colleague, Iyabo Ojo has even reacted to the devastating news and offered her accommodation.
In a fresh interview, the movie star evaded the question as to who owned the over N500 million worth property destroyed during the demolition.
Kiitan Bukola instead of giving a straightforward answer, cleverly stated how she never said the property was hers.
According to her, she only said Nigeria has happened to her, which meant she was feeling the pains of others and besides, she only made up the post so she could take time away from her busy work schedule. Kiitan said in part:
“First of all the video I posted did I say a word in it? I never said I bought a house N500million. I only said Nigeria has happened to me, demolition. I never said the house was mine. If the house was mine, would people not close to me know? You don’t know what I have or don’t have. I posted the video so that people that I had worked for, would know that I was going through a tough time”.

Recall in November 2022, the Yoruba actress announced her engagement to her lover, Kingsley.
However in April 2023, Kiitan Bukola revealed she broke off her engagement with ex-lover following rumours that their relationship was over.
Kiitan Bukola also spoke about how unlucky she has been with love and how she has given up on it for now. She hinted that a disagreement that couldn’t be salvaged took place, which led to the breakup, just two months after their engagement.
