In other news, Modinatu Aderemi, one of the wives of Olofa Ina, the late Nigerian actor, has revealed how he died.
Olofa Ina passed away on on Thursday, the 5th of January, 2024 and was buried the next day in Osun state. He was 73 years old.
In an interview with BBC Yoruba, Modinatu said the actor had been battling an illness for a while and had received care at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital in Ile-Ife.
She said he spent three weeks in the hospital but died within 30 minutes of returning home.
“We had been taken care of him, and he was at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital in Ile-Ife,” she said.
“We were told to bring him home from the hospital on Thursday evening. It was not more than 30 minutes after we got home that he died.”
