- Mr Macaroni’s rant came as a result of the death of one of the six kidnapped family members in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.
- Reacting to the saddened incident in a series of posts on his X handle, Mr Macaroni slammed the Nigerian government, urging them to rise and end the crimes going on in the country.
Popular content creator and activist, Adebowale Debo Adedayo, better known as Mr Macaroni, has taken to his platform to blast the Federal Government (FG) for its apparent failure to prioritize the safety and well-being of its citizens.
Mr Macaroni was acting out in reaction to the d3ath of one of six kidnapped family members in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
It should be recalled that more than a week ago, Alhaji Mansoor Al-Kadriyar and his six daughters were abducted from the FCT’s Bwari Area Council.
Nabeeha, a 400-level biological science student of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) in Zaria, was among the victims who was killed by her kidnappers on Friday.
The kidnappers had previously sought a ransom of N60 million, but after Nabeeha’s murder, they increased it to N100 million.
The heinous crime committed against Nabeeha has however made Mr macaroni to call on the federal government to reignite the urgent need to address the value of human lives in Nigeria and seek ways to restore faith in the system that should protect its people.
In a series of posts on his X handle, Macaroni reacted to the tragic situation, saying, “It’s so sad to hear about Nabeeha Al-Kadriyar’s death.”
“Six sisters were kidnapped and one had been killed. What is the government doing to ensure that the remaining five are not killed?
“Where is the value of human lives in Nigeria? How many more must die? How many more Nigerians will be sacrificed on the altar of irresponsibility and recklessness?
“The life of every Nigerian matters. The government must rise up and put an end to this barbarism.”
It’s so sad to hear about the death of Nabeeha Al-Kadriyar.
6 sisters were kidnapped and 1 has been killed. What is the government doing to ensure that the remaining 5 are not killed? Common!!!!
