Why I am not interested in Sadio Mane’s money – Footballer’s 18-year-old wife, Aisha Tamba speaks

Sadio Mane's wife reiterated her rare values despite being married to the footballer

Aisha Tamba, the recently wedded wife of former Liverpool forward, Sadio Mane, has addressed the media attention surrounding her marriage in an exclusive interview with The Daily Mail.

During the interview, Aisha shared her perspective on the attention directed at her and Sadio. Despite the controversy, she emphasized that her husband’s fame and wealth would not alter her fundamental values or make her forget her roots.

Aisha stressed that while she appreciates being called “Mrs. Mane,” it won’t change her core identity.

She expressed anticipation for her new life but emphasized that she doesn’t feel pressured by Sadio’s fame and money.

She stated:

“I am looking forward to my new life and I know that it will be very different. But I do not feel any pressure because Sadio’s fame and money will not change me. This is not what I’m interested in. I will remain a humble person committed to my faith,” Aisha Tamba said.

“I’m not used to having so much attention on me because we are a very private family. We don’t like to show off and speak about our personal lives. I am a very down to earth person, this is how I was raised, and nothing will be different just because of this marriage. But I’m very honoured to now be Mrs Mane.”

While Tamba stresses that being with Mane won’t change her, the couple have barely spent any time together since the ceremony. The Al-Nassr forward is currently in the Ivory Coast to defence his nation’s AFCON crown. But Tamba has commitments of her own, as her father revealed the pair’s honeymoon plans are on hold until she finishes her exams. She recently returned to her school to a raucous reception from her fellow students.
