Nigerian Dance-hall singer, Cynthia Morgan has come down hard on those harassing Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, following the recent revelation about his son.
Recall that Joseph expressed his astonishment in a recent TVC interview, revealing his disbelief at the idea of Mohbad having a thumbprint will, especially when he himself, at 50, has no will.
Joseph Aloba went on to question why his 26-year-old graduate son opted for a thumbprint instead of a signature on his will. Alleging that Wunmi, along with her lawyer, orchestrated the thumbprint after the singer’s demise, Mohbad’s father raised eyebrows.
His bold claim sparked a wave of criticism from Nigerians, who swiftly took to social media to rebuke him.
Contrary to Joseph Aloba’s assertions, the late singer’s management, in a statement posted on Monday via his Instagram page, refuted the claims, deeming them false and misleading.
The statement clarified that neither any member of Mohbad’s management nor their lawyers had communicated the existence of a will or any thumb-printed document, contrary to the father’s spspeculations.
In response to the backlash over the interview, Cynthia Morgan questioned why anyone would doubt the credibility of the 56-year-old man’s statements about the alleged will.
She dismissed the statement from Mohbad’s management that discredited Joseph Aloba’s claims, labeling it as baseless.
Cynthia Morgan wrote;
“Mohbad was bullied till his death right in front of everyone noe you are all shouting justice kinikon. Now you guys have started bullying baba mohbad. So you mean a greiving father is lying about all theres things? Take for instance he is a rich man will his daughter inlaw dare say she wouldn’t go for a DNA?
Nigerians will support rubbish till the person involved is dead. Anywhere wey you for see management write us no use your brain nai be say no fit get sense again.”
