Paul Okoye cries out on alarming rate of insecurity in the country


Nigerian singer Paul Okoye recently emphasizes on a disheartening situation in Nigeria.

He counseled Nigerians to be in charge of their own security.

The artist made this statement in the midst of the country’s deteriorating security situation.

He shed light on the harsh truth that in a country plagued by insecurity, individuals are left to navigate their own protection and well-being.

Responding to the government’s incapacity to secure residents’ lives and property, Paul Okoye recommended Nigerians to adopt their own security precautions.

He stated that Nigerians will be safer if they embrace responsibility for their own protection.

The earlier you realize that you are responsible for your own safety in Nigeria, the safer you will be” he wrote on Instagram.

Last year, after the 2023 general election, singer Paul Okoye reacted to Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory as the president-elect of the presidential election.

Taking to his Instagram stories, Paul Okoye who’s an ardent supporter of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi made some insinuating remarks, stating that he is yet to see videos of people celebrating Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s triumph in the presidential election, especially those residing in Northern Nigeria.

The ‘Reason With Me‘ hitmaker claimed that there is no one from the Northern region making a fuss or holding motorbike processions on the streets to celebrate Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s success in the presidential race.

He wrote:

“Am yet to see a video of people celebrating that he won. Especially the people in the North as usual with their bike parade on the street and all.”
