Mohbad's management seeks apology, N200m in damages over recent will allegations

The management team of the late Nigerian singer, Mohbad, has reportedly sued the singer’s father following his recent allegations regarding the existence of a will.

The father, Mr Joseph Aloba, claimed in a TVC interview that his 26-year-old son had left behind a will that was thumbprinted but not signed.

Mohbad’s management swiftly responded to these accusations, denying the claims and declaring the alleged will as both unreal and unprecedented in their official statement.

The situation has now escalated, as the management team has taken legal measures against Mohbad’s father.

According to a legal letter allegedly sent by Mohbad’s management through their legal representatives, the singer’s father is being sued for defamation of character.

The letter demands a public apology and the withdrawal of what they refer to as ‘slanderous‘ statements made by Mohbad’s father.

Additionally, the management is seeking a compensation in the amount of N200 million as damages.

Speaking exclusively to TVC News, Mohbad’s father revealed disturbing details that have left him suspicious of foul play.

Upon reaching his son’s residence, Mohbad’s father was taken aback to find his son’s body already locally embalmed.
