For a while, Kunle Afod has been advocating for Nigerians to show support and care to veterans in the industry. To prove how serious he was, he paid a surprise visit to Lere Paimo, also known as Eda Onile Ola.

Kunle shared a video on his Instagram page, as he expressed how excited he was visiting the veteran’s home for the first time.

Following his clamor for help, many made moves as they donated money to the veteran. Kunle shared a video of him revisiting the veteran as he gifted him the money, while appreciating the public for their token and said a word of prayer for them.

Days after his second visit, Eda Onileola was gifted a brand new car and a cash gift of five hundred and fifty thousand Naira.

The 84-year-old veteran actor who was dressed in white was obviously speechless as he was presented the car and money in cash.

Nigerian cleric and founder of Seed of Christ Golden Church, Apostle SMO Mustapha aka Baba Sebioba presented Lere Paimo with the car.

After he handed over the car key, Kunle Afod revealed some of his fans had donated more money for the elderly actor, the sum of N550k.
