Popular Nigerian comedian, Basketmouth has revealed his unique approach to honing his acting skills, by using the movie ‘Brotherhood’ as a tool for self-improvement.

The comedian, known for his stand-up comedy discussed how he found inspiration in the movie and had used it as a way to test and develop his own acting abilities.

He stated that, while he is not entirely committed to acting, he will consider returning to the screen if he receives another script with a good character.

Speaking in his most recent online interview, basketmouth stated that 2024 will be a memorable year due to the interesting projects he has planned to work on.

“I featured in Brotherhood because I was curious to see if I could pull it off, and I want to believe I did. I just might take a shot at acting again when I get a good script with a daring character.

I have some exciting projects coming up. My team and I have been working tirelessly for a couple of years now preparing for 2024.

“I have been a comedian for 25 years now, and I believe it is time to explore new opportunities in movies and music,” he said.

Few months ago, Basketmouth revealed that, he wanted to be a rapper, stating that comedy wasn’t his 1st passion.

He stated his desire to become a rapper, while covering Thisday Newspaper’s weekend style.

Additionally, he provided some insight on how to become a comedian and acknowledged his exceptional humorous talent.

Basketmouth said during the interview that he was typically in a group of funny friends growing up, so he never realized he was funny.

but over time realized how funny he was and was torn between becoming a rapper or going into comedy as a career.

The well-known comedian also disclosed that his parents did not discourage him when he decided to pursue comedy in his childhood years.
