Media personality, VeryDarkMan has publicly issued a cautionary statement to Daniel Yunusa, a Nigerian man who claimed to have escaped from kidnappers while traveling to Kogi State.
In the video that went viral, Daniel how his five siblings, and friends were abducted, adding that he escaped and subsequently decided to alert the public.
Expressing skepticism about the authenticity of Daniel’s story, VeryDarkMan urged the public not to contribute any funds to the family.
The activist asserted that Daniel’s account seemed dubious and emphasized that no financial support should be extended until the veracity of the claims is established.
VeryDarkMan further warned Daniel, asserting that his police friends were actively investigating the case.
In a firm message, he vowed to ensure legal consequences if any part of the story is found to be untrue.
Verydarkman questioned the rapid sequence of events, from the initial kidnapping post to sharing videos of the incident and subsequently soliciting funds.
He further recounted his previous encounter with Daniel, hinting that the man is obviously interested in amassing attention and securing funds for himself
He wrote:
“I swear on my mother, i will make sure you spend a good time with the police if any of this is not true, in just 4days you posted your kidnap, posted car, posted the kidnapers video and now you are asking for funds, your only savior will be if this is true.”
