Reality TV star and radio host, Natacha Akide alias Tacha has reacted to the backlash she has been facing for urging women not to be faithful while dating.
The controversial media personality had said fidelity is only obligatory in marriage and as such, there is no oath in a courtship that binds women to be faithful to their partner.
Speaking during a recent episode of the Spill With Phyna podcast, the BBNaija ex-housemate stressed that ladies in relationships are single until they are married and should not to be faithful until they are engaged or married.
Actresses Tomama and Sarah Martins and Comedian Deeone, to mention a few, called her out for supporting cheating in relationships.
Reacting to Tacha’s statement, Sarah Martins admonished the reality star to avoid misleading young folks. She stated that if one can cheat in courtship, they will definitely cheat in marriage.
Frustrated with the amount of advice on social media, she stated that it was high time President Tinubu banned podcasts. Sarah Martins said:
“My sweet Tacha. You never talk wetin dey ya mind. If you can cheat in courtship, you will definitely cheat in marriage no two ways about it.
“Is the way you boldly carried the mic and boldly told the young ladies looking up to you as their role model to cheat on their spouses until they get a ring on their finger. Damn…fr? Wow, it’s high time Tinubu bans podcasts. It’s getting toxic!

Tomama on the other hand asserted that anyone not faithful in a relationship cannot be faithful in marriage.
She questioned Tacha if she would allow her brother or son to propose to his girlfriend when she is not faithful.
Also former Big Brother Naija housemate and comedian, DeeOne stated that Tacha can never be faithful in a relationship because of her statement.
DeeOne said she is the only one he knows who has low self-esteem and an inferiority complex. He said:
“In the history of Reality TV shows that I know of, she is the one that has an inferiority complex, and low self-esteem. The same person advising you tweeted in 2018 that she would suck a man’s dick if only he can tell her how much he loves her.
“Her eyes are on the prize, she is a hustler and is out for blood.”
Following the criticism heaped on her, the self acclaimed Port Harcourt First Daughter attacked her critics, describing them as “clowns”.
Tacha stated that if a man with six children can claim to be single in his marriage, why should she be faithful as an unmarried single girl. Taking to X, Tacha wrote:
“Can’t help but laugh at the Tears!! A man with 6 kids is single in his marriage! And I should be faithful as an unmarried single girl?? Make it sense. Keep shifting the goal post when it comes to men!! Y’all are clowns”.
