This post triggered me – Bolaji Ogunmola reacts to trending video of ‘BBNaija’s Kaisha’s’ business

Bolaji Ogunmola cautions critics of BBNaija’s Kaisha’s noodles business

Nigerian actress, Bolaji Ogunmola has been stirred by a viral video featuring former Big Brother Naija housemate, Kaisha facing criticism for her alleged new business venture.

Bolaji empathized with the experience of being looked down upon for pursuing a similar path.

Kaisha’s look-alike sister, Zaynab, had shared a TikTok video showcasing her provision store stocked with items like noodles, milk, sweets, and others. The viral video gave a glimpse of the extensive provisions in her sizable warehouse.

A social media user, mistakenly thinking she was Kaisha, ridiculed her living conditions, mocking the fact that a BBNaija star is now selling noodles to make a living.

Taking to her Instagram page to defend her, Bolaji Ogunmola stated that the post got her triggered because she had experienced something similar.

She noted how celebrities in Hollywood are complaining of poor pay, not to mention Nigerian celebrities, especially with the current economy.

She questioned if fans think one source of income is enough, especially when one has multiple mouths to feed.

Addressing individuals like the troll, she advised them to move along if they had nothing positive to say about a young woman putting in effort and striving to increase her earnings. Bolaji Ogunmola wrote:

“This entire post has got me triggered because I have experienced something similar and this was said to my face.

If celebrities in Hollywood are complaining that they don’t make enough what do you think people in Nigeria are making??? With the current economy you think one source of income is enough????

If you see young women working hard and trying to double their money in whatever legit way and you have nothing nice to say, just keep it moving and don’t drop any silly comment.

“Some of us have too many mouths to feed and we have so many things we want to achieve and we have to work extremely hard to get it.

“If you see me in Lagos island market (yes I have a store there) trying to sell you a sanitary pad please patronize me or keep it moving. We are not ashamed to work and it’s okay if you buy into the lies people feed you on social media but don’t put me on any form of pedestal that I didn’t ask for. Thank you and God bless.”
