Renowned movie star, Sam Dede spurred excitement among Nigerians a few hours ago with a powerful announcement.
Taking to his IG page, the actor announced the new part of the old hit movie, Issakaba that is set to drop soon.
The announcement was further spiced with Davido’s verse in Kizz Daniel’s ‘Twe Twe‘ as the crooner screamed ‘Issakaba’ while delivering the catchy verse.
Issakaba which is an anagram for Bakassi is a movie produced in the year 2001 by Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen, and it is based on true life events.
It involved community vigilante boys called Bakassi Boys fighting against crimes like armed robbery and murder cases that put fear and panic in the community. It also depicted the battle against Eddy Nawgu a sorcerer who terrorized the people of Nawgu community in Anambra State.
The Issakaba boys led by Ebube had to fight against armed robbers who terrorized their society. The armed robbers possess certain mystical powers that they use in their robbery activities. Because of this, Ebube and his team of Issakaba boys also obtained powers that enabled them to fight against robbery. The movie is full of action, horror and drama.
In light of this, a subsequent part promises more action and although the exact date for the release of the movie wasn’t announced, fans are eagerly anticipating the masterpiece.
