“Your hubby won’t like this” – Chizzy Alichi under fire over movie scene with Toosweet Annan, she fires back

Chizzy Alichi, renowned for her blissful marriage, stirred up a storm among fans with a recent movie scene featuring her and colleague Toosweet Annan. Their on-screen lip-lock caused quite a stir, with many deeming it inappropriate for a married woman to still take on such roles. However, the resilient movie star wasted no time in hitting back, defending her actions without hesitation.


Chizzy Alichi, the renowned Nigerian actress, set the internet abuzz with a recent movie scene she shared on her social media platform.

In her efforts to promote her latest film, “Echoes from the Past,” the movie star took to Instagram to tease fans with a snippet of her intimate bedroom scene alongside colleague Toosweet Annan.

Portraying the roles of a married couple, the duo was caught in the act, engaging in a romantic scene in bed, complete with passionate lip-locking.

Online users who stumbled across the clip didn’t hold back their disapproval, laying into Chizzy Alichi for taking on such a role as a married woman.

Many voiced concerns about how her husband would react upon seeing it.

Firing back at one of her critics, Chizzy Alichi didn’t mince words, told them to keep their nose out of her business.

This is coming few days after the movie star buried her father Alex Alichi in Enugu.

The burial took place in her hometown on Friday, January 5th, and drew the presence of fellow colleagues such as Kanayo O. Kanayo, Rachael Okonkwo, Uju Okoli, Browny Igbokwe, Chiwetalu Agu, and Stanley Igboanugo.

Chizzy announced the death of her father in an Instagram post on December 16, 2003.

She wrote: “My father is gone. Words fail me. My father, my first love. I’m broken, my whole life is turned upside down. This was not our plan.

“Father how can you die without carrying my children? This is too much for me but I cannot question God. I’m glad I gave you almost everything you have ever wished for when you were alive. Rest in peace Father. Please come back to me as soon as possible.

“I don’t understand what’s going on anymore, first call in the morning and it’s the news of your death, can I ever pick any call in the morning again. Please say a prayer for me .”
