Portable’s 4th babymama, Ashabi breaks silence after singer berated her over recent interview

Up-and-coming Nigerian actress, Akinyanju Omobolarinde better known as Ashabi Simple has broken her silence after Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, who doubles as her baby daddy, berated her for comments she made during a recent interview.

Ashabi Simple, spoke on her senior colleague, Biola Adebayo’s ‘Talk To B’ podcast and during the interview, the former revealed details about her relationship with Portable.

Ashabi revealed that she considers herself the sole wife of her husband, adopting the mindset of a lover.

She explained that when Portable is with her, he assumes the role of a husband, but in his absence, she assumes he is away working to provide for the family.

In response to the interview, the ‘Zazzu Zeh’ crooner, in a series of videos on his Instagram, expressed dissatisfaction with his fourth baby mama’s interview.

Portable urged the actress to respect his wife and avoid any competition with her. He also questioned Ashabi Simple’s mental health for her responses during the interview.

The Ogun-born singer added that his legally married wife, Bewaji, doesn’t cause him trouble, whereas Ashabi Simple, whom he referred to as a side chick, is causing issues.

He noted that Ashabi Simple became his baby mama because he accepted her pregnancy as a responsible man and then upgraded her life. Portable then cautioned her against portraying herself as his sole wife, revealing he has multiple side relationships similar to hers.

Finally reacting to Portable’s rants after keeping quiet earlier, Ashabi Simple said she wouldn’t make a post to embarrass him because she believes they will still settle their grievances.

The actress cum producer however wondered why the singer would want to chase clout with her. She wrote on her Instagram stories:
