Why I don’t feel myself anymore – Wizkid addresses concerns trailing his ‘appearance’ at UK event

The exuberant, lively, and charming demeanor that typically defines WizKid was noticeably absent during his recent cameo at Bob Marley's movie premiere in the UK. His subdued aura raised eyebrows and stirred genuine concern about his mental well-being. Addressing the escalating worries head-on, Big Wiz opened up about why he's been feeling emotionally distant, shedding light on his inner emptiness.

Afrobeats icon Wizkid has responded to the surge of concerns from his loyal fans regarding his less-than-happy demeanor at an event, shedding light on the reasons behind his emotional detachment.

WITHIN NIGERIA had previously reported that the Grammy-winning artist graced the UK premiere of “Bob Marley: One Love” in London, where circulating online videos captured the singer wearing a solemn expression.

Many voiced worry, observing his look as old, worn-out, and lacking in spirit. Some speculated that the singer is still grappling with the loss of his beloved mother.

In response, Wizkid opened up about how he’s been adrift since his mother’s passing, admitting to feeling lost

However, he clung to the belief that one day he’d rediscover his essence. Drawing parallels to the resilience of a soldier, he asserted his need for space, even hinting at a swift rebuke for those who intrude.

Addressing his fans, he urged them not to lament his struggles but instead to embrace his eventual resurgence without complaint.

WizKid wrote via Instagram story;

Look in the mirror don’t feel myself. Mama left me and I lost myself.

“Can’t wait to feel myself again! Life of a soldier! Military with it!

“Until then I dey slap away for free so leave me

And I’m thankful y’all going through this phase with me. U seen me at my lowest now. When u see me back on my high no complain.”
