- Kcee has accused Harrysong of forging his signature and that of his brother, E-Money and collecting money from their client.
- The music executive made the claim in a recent interview with media personality, Adesope.
- Kcee also added that Harrysong’s music contract is still binding despite leaving the label. This comes after the Reggae Blues hitmaker called out his former record label boss for withholding his royalties and owing him a lump sum.
Renowned Nigerian musician and music executive, Kingsley Chinweike Okonkwo better known as KCee has alleged that his former signee, Harrison Tare Okiri, better known by his stage name Harrysong, forged his signature to collect funds from clients.
This is coming weeks after Harrysong called out the 5 star records label managed by Kcee and his brother E-money for withholding his royalties.
Reacting to him in his latest interview on ‘The Afrobeat Podcast’, Kcee explained that Harrysong has a criminal case of forging he and his brother’s signature to collect money from their client. In Kcee’s words:
“For me Harrysong has a five year contract with 5 star records, and is still on as we speak.
“But he has a criminal case running now, like if I wanna bring it back now, I will… forging my signature and my brother’s signature and collecting money from a client. that’s a criminal case I have. Still pending.
But I haven’t never talked about all these, I don’t wanna talk about it. Because I know him, I loved him so much as a brother.”
Recall in December 2023, Harrysong called out the Five Star Music executive over 7years worth of unpaid debt and royalties.
The singer claimed Kcee has been receiving 100% gain of all his hit songs including Reggae Blues, Baba for the Girls, Samankwe.
