Afrobeats superstar Kizz Daniel, on Wednesday, February 7, announced his plan to fulfill a promise he made to a fan who requested attendance at his UK concert if Nigeria qualifies for the AFCON 2023 finals.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria faced off against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in a fierce football match.

Lasting longer than the allotted 90 minutes of game time, the match culminated in Nigeria securing a spot in the finals through penalties, with a final scoreline of 4-2.

Prior to the match, a devoted fan of the renowned singer, in a post via the X platform, struck a deal, requesting Kizz Daniel to have him attend his upcoming show at the Ovo Arena in the UK.

The fan quizzed;

“Vado if Super Eagles win today, take me to your next show, Ovo Arena”

Kizz Daniel responded:

“This I promise you …. X is my witness”

In a post-match commentary, the Twe Twe crooner swiftly took to X to deliver the news to the fan, granting his wish mere moments after the intense match.

He tweeted;

“Oga where you dey , con go do your visa o UK yah .” 

Meanwhile, Nollywood star Destiny Etiko recently posted a video displaying the ecstatic celebrations that ensued after Nigeria’s Super Eagles secured their spot in the AFCON final.
