A video which emerged online, shows Wigwe, a native of Rivers State, addressing his community as he embarked on a university project. In his address, he vowed to create a top-tier institution, aspiring for it to become the best university in Africa.
Notably, before his unfortunate death, the late Access Bank CEO fulfilled his promise by completing the university project for his community.
He added that children of the community would attend the institution while soliciting the collective support of the people who were overly excited by the project.
