The singer revealed that he is scared of falling in love because of how fragile his heart is.


Fast-rising Nigerian Singer, Crown Uzama, popularly known as Shallipopi, recently opened up about his fear of falling in love.

The fast rising star admitted that the idea of truly opening up to someone and allowing himself to be vulnerable in a romantic relationship terrifies him.

He explained that he has had his own share of heartbreak, causing him to build up walls to protect himself from potential pain.

Shallipopi stated that Despite his fears, he is hopeful that one day he will find someone who matches his vibe and someone who can break through his defenses.

On the most recent episode of The Receipts Podcast, he said:

“I’m a lover of love but I don’t love because of the way this generation is.

“My heart is fragile so if someone plays with it, I will cry. Someone broke my heart in the past. We were in a relationship, then something happened and we broke up. The fault wasn’t from me.”

The musician claimed he had never cheated in a relationship, except for a few “flings”.

Shallipopi had earlier stated that he has never cheated on his girlfriend.

In a podcast interview with British media personality Madame Joyce, the “Oba Pluto” crooner made a striking revelation.

Shallipopi unequivocally stated that he has never engaged in infidelity during his relationships, adamantly proclaiming his stance against cheating.

Emphasizing his preference for monogamous relationships, Shallipopi expressed his belief in remaining loyal to one woman when in a committed relationship.

During the interview, Shallipopi elaborated on his principled stance.

He went on to point out the potential consequences of cheating, stressing the inevitability of getting caught and the subsequent trust issues that would arise.
