Popular Nigerian crossdresser and media personality Denrele Edun has opened up on a challenging chapter in his life, revealing that he suffered a stroke that affected half of his face.
In an interview with Channel TV, Denrele explained that the stroke left his left eye closed and caused a noticeable shift in his facial features, leading him to cover the affected side with his unique and extravagant hairstyles.
The media personality shared his ordeal, recounting how the stroke impacted various aspects of his health.
Denrele revealed that the stroke not only affected his facial appearance but also led to difficulties in breathing and impaired vision due to the automatic closure of his left eye.
Additionally, he disclosed that his right leg experienced numbness during this challenging period, and he lost hair on the front side of his head.
Denrele Edun went on to reveal that when he was battling the effects of the stroke, he received a call for a movie shoot. Opting not to disclose his illness or seek sympathy, he decided to attend the shoot.
