Charly Boy sold me out, can’t be trusted – Eedris Abdulkareem

Eedris Abdulkareem revisits brawl with 50 Cent, Charly Boy’s intervention

Veteran Nigerian rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem has expressed displeasure over what his older colleague Charles Oputa, aka Charly Boy, did to him.

According to the ‘Jaga Jaga’ crooner, Oputa, who is also an activist, is not a man of integrity as far as money is involved.

The musician, who won the battle against kidney disease, made this revelation on the Honest Brunch podcast which is slated to be released on Monday, February 19. While speaking in a visibly angry tone, Eedris noted that Charly Boy sold him out.

He seemingly hinted at the issue being about his misunderstanding with 50 Cent, before Charly Boy got involved.

During the podcast, the talented musician also spoke about his upbringing, noting that he was trained by the Hausas. More so, he went to military school, and he loves to speak the truth, regardless of who likes it or who doesn’t.

WITHIN NIGERIA earlier reported that Charly Boy revisited how he handled a situation involving 50 Cent and Eedris Abdulkareem in 2004.

The singer claimed that Abdulkareem informed him that he was beat into a pulp for going into a first class compartment of a plane meant for 50 Cent because they had a show together.

Charly Boy said he mobilized about 3000 bikes and their riders, then led them to the airport where the aforementioned incident took place. He claimed to confront 50 Cent, who in turn apologized after seeing the number of people that stormed the airport.
