In other news, the Delta state police command has revealed why a Nollywood costumier who was accused of raping a 10-year-old girl was released on bail.

The costumier — simply identified as Prince Onyenwere — was allegedly caught abusing the girl on a movie set in January.

He was thereafter handed over to the police after he was beaten for committing the alleged act.

Onyenwere was subsequently released by the police, sparking a wave of criticism on social media.
