A video captures the moment much loved Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali reportedly returned to his village in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Nwabali who won the hearts of Nigerians due to his exceptional performance at the just concluded 2023 AFCON tournament courtesy of his exceptional performance, was welcomed by residents of his community in a kingly manner.
A clip shared by celebrity blogger, Tunde Ednut showed the convoy of cars Nwabali arrived in.
Residents who were ecstatic to receive the goalie could be seen trailing the cars closely.
Captioning the video, Ednut wrote:
“Mwabali went back to his village in PH. He’s now a mega Super Star. Amazing!!! ⚽️
When it’s your time, it’s your time, e go be like say na only you God bless when it’s your time.”
