- Sonia agreed that social media should be regulated before it gets out of control.
- she noted that people are using social media to sabotage president Tinubu’s efforts.
Jude Ighalo’s ex-wife, Sonia, has come out in support of President Tinubu amidst growing criticism and recent pleas from online users.
In a series of posts on her Instagram page, she questioned who gave his critics the audacity to disrespect Tinubu, the federation’s Commander in Chief.
Sonia slammed those who are constantly undermining the President’s efforts to make the country worse, stating that they are only sabotaging progress.
She emphasized the need for social media regulation before it spirals out of control, expressing concern over the negative impact of unchecked online criticism.
She wrote:
“Who gave these people the temerity to disrespect the Commander-In-Chief (POFRON)?
I believe that social media should be regulated before it gets out of hand. Life Fr.
People as sabotaging his efforts to make the country worse, but the dull-witted cannot see it”.
Sonia also shared a screenshot where she tackled a social media user who slammed her for supporting Tinubu, stating that she wasn’t expecting anything reasonable from a person like him.
“Well, I didn’t expect an intellectual response from you, so I’m not disappointed”.
Earlier today, Comedian Seyi Law has revealed that If another election comes up tomorrow, he will still vote for Tinubu.
He likened the current economic hardship in Nigeria to the Biblical wilderness experience of the Israelites, saying he would rather stay with “a Moses through the wilderness to Canaan than eat meat and drink wine in slavery in Egypt at the expense of my children’s future”.
In a lengthy post shared via his X handle hours ago, Seyi Law said in part:
“while a lot of Nigerians kill the optimism of others with hate and urge for immediate gratification, it is sad that our government agencies are not communicating government agendas, efforts, and actions effectively”.
“I am not one to judge anyone for their anger towards the government. After all, they were voted to serve the people. I am maybe only privileged to be better informed.
“I know everything doesn’t rest at the centre, and I should be able to make demands from the state government. Your allocations have increased, and to take steps towards a better transportation system not to talk of subsidising it for your citizens is a mountain you’re finding hard to climb. The state governors are absolutely shameless.”
